Patena Procession in Ispica

The weather is not great right now in Sicily - but this didn't stop the 'Ispicesi' from celebrating carnival and marking the start of the fasting season with fireworks and procession through the centre of Ispica on a Wednesday morning. The building shown is the wonderful 'Palazzo Alfieri' in Piazza Regina Margherita.
