Making the most of your holidays in Sicily
Truth is, we are all so busy before departing for a holiday that we often find ourselves on the plane ready to depart with little knowledge of the place we are about to be catapulted into. Yes, there are obviously exceptions… and yes, I have met a few of those over the years! They have read everything, printed out and photocopied all sorts of information, put them together in a 2 volume masterpiece, Sicily folder part I and Sicily folder part II... and in the end? Well, to my experience, they end up keeping their nose on the pages of their mini-encyclopedia of Sicily and forget to actually enjoy it.
