In her beautifully restored family home, right in the historical city centre of Modica, Katia Amore welcomes travelers and guides them through the wonderful and varied Sicilian cuisine with hands-on, relaxed courses, continuing her gourmet family tradition that spans generations.

loveSicily organises set-date, week-long cookery holidays in South-East Sicily (see sample itinerary), as well as tailormade cookery holidays that can be as short as a single day or as long as a whole week.

Our cookery school in Sicily and accommodation are in the beautiful city of Modica - a Unesco World Heritage site with a rich culinary tradition and wonderful baroque architecture.

When not in the kitchen, or simply relaxing on the terazza offering amazing views of Modica, we explore the surrounding area and meet with some of the best producers of wine, olive oil and the famous Modica chocolate.
